Mississippi River Fishing Report 8/17/2025

The Upper Mississippi River has been fishing well on our guided trips as of late, even with all the rain we keep getting, the fish seem to be happy and eating well.

Top water bite has been phenomenal most days. Larrys balsa wood poppers and dead drifting damsel patterns. Swim flies fished low and slow have put some absolute tanks in the boat on the days when the top water bite was slower.

We have limited dates left for the months of August and September. Hope to see you on the water sometime in 2025 if not we are booking for the 2026 season.
